Summer ended on a high note in the Panama City Beach real estate market with increased sales during August. There were 217 properties closed for homes and condominiums combined and 82 properties placed under contract. The Panama City market also saw an increase in sales with 81 homes sold and 26 new contracts. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Beach Properties of Florida was ranked in the top 6 agencies in Panama City Beach for the month, earning nearly $12 million in sales volume with 17 transaction sides and over $18 million overall in Bay County.

The highest priced condo closed in Panama City Beach was a gulf front, three bedroom residence in En Soleil at $1.4 million.


The highest priced single family home to sell in Panama City Beach was a gulf front, six bedroom home in Lullwater Beach at $4.15 million.


The highest priced single family home to sell in Panama City was a bay front, four bedroom home in The Cove at $1.85 million.


The highest priced new construction, single family home to sell in Panama City was a four bedroom Captiva plan in SweetBay at $605,947.
